Whether you started your journey with a product idea or whether you get to that step later, at some point you do need to figure out what product you’re selling in order to build a business.
List the benefits. Why will customers want to buy this product? What problem will it solve for them?
List the essential features. What will the product do for customers?
Design the user experience. How will customers interact with the product?
Name the product. What will it be called?
Packaging. If it’s a physical product, how will it be packaged? If it’s a software product, how will it be installed? If it’s a service, how will it be accessed?
Delivery. If it’s a physical product, will the customer pick it up or will it be shipped? If it’s a software product, how will the customer get it? If it’s a service, how will the customer be identified to access it?
Product images. If it’s a physical product, take pictures of it in and out of packaging. if it’s a software product, take screenshots and also design virtual packaging to represent it. If it’s a service, take pictures of the service in action or find some other pictures or design virtual packaging to represent it.
