A business vision is a statement of what the business will be like in the future, and how world will be different when the business is successful in achieving its business purpose.
The business vision can be as short or as long as needed to describe it. If it’s long, you may want to summarize it in a short paragraph that you can use everywhere with a link to the full description.
The business vision should be focused on the target market. If you identified multiple markets, each of them should be included in the business vision.
For example:
- Small businesses will be able to have essential cybersecurity protection that is affordable and easy to use. Our cybersecurity platform will be standard advice that investors give their founders and business coaches give their clients.
- Entrepreneurs will have a single place to keep all their important notes and track their progress as they build their business. We will be the first stop for anyone who is interested in building a business.
